Enteq Upstream PLC (NTQ), a provider of upstream technology and products, has launched an integrated Measurement While Drilling (MWD) solution based on proven technologies from Extended Exploration Technology (XXT) and KM Services (KMS); two companies acquired by Enteq in 2012.

Enteq’s new development supplies an integrated MWD solution for directional, vibration monitoring, gamma and data transmission. The innovative MWD technology is based on the next generation XXT downhole interface module, drivers and interfaces optimized to work at the highest pressures and temperatures. The Enteq solution also incorporates analog and digital third party interfaces.

“Enteq is committed to further evolutions of next generation MWD solutions, and we are investing significantly in capacity, support and engineering – including a new assembly and support facility in The Woodlands, Texas,” said CEO Martin Perry. “We are proud of the reliability that accompanies our products which is proven through the sales of more than 1,000 XXT downhole modules.”

The XXT products provide reliable and technical, downhole electronics solutions with high levels of redundancy and efficiency in the data transmission and receiver systems.

Enteq Upstream PLC was founded in 2011 by the former CEO and the Senior VP of Sondex plc, Martin Perry and Raymond Garcia. Enteq has the ambition to grow by acquisition and subsequent organic development into a premier provider of upstream technology and products to oilfield service companies globally. Enteq has raised initial sums in excess of $100 million from blue-chip institutional investors in the London Stock Exchange to fund acquisitions and the growth strategy.
